The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court's decision to apply the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution to the regulation of energy. Topics discussed include the regulation of sustainable electricity and climate change, the implications of the Supreme Court's decisions in several cases including Hughes v. Talen Energy Mktg LLC and FERC v. EPSA in shaping electric energy policy, and the interpretation of the Federal Power Act.
