- Abstract
An essay is presented on the defense of no-duty rule for the products liability restatement of former co-reporters and authors. Topics discussed include no recommendations for the imprimatur of the American Law Institute, role of authors in framing the no-duty rule for the regulation of case law and the impact of no-duty rule in balancing the competing social interests. It further discusses the role restatement in optional safety devices.
