- Abstract
The article offers information on the research "Molecular Methods in Microbiology Research of Rocks in Mengqiguer Uranium Deposit in Yili Basin, China" by Zhang Yuyan and colleagues. It concludes that 16S rRNA analysis, DNA extraction from environment, and detection of microorganism by DAPI staining are reliable in analyzing the role of microorganism in the formation of interlayer oxidation type sandstone uranium deposit.
