Title
Ensuring food standards.
Abstract
The author discusses aspects of food standards in view of the scandal pertaining to horsemeat that are labelled as beef products. He cites the Scottish government's decision to establish a separate agency from the responsibility of the Food Standards Agency (FSA) in England. The author believes that the horsemeat scandal warrants the need for a firm and coordinated approach to food standards not just in England, but across Europe.
