- Abstract
The author discusses the article "Association of urinary cadmium excretion with feline hypertension," by N. C. Finch and colleagues in the 2011 issue of the "Veterinary Record." He discusses veterinary pathophysiology which includes the association of metallothioneins, cadmium, and feline hypertension. He mentions the urinary cadmium excretion in hypertensive cats. Furthermore, he cites the possibility of the changes in cadmium excretion in metallothionein physiology.
