- Abstract
The article examines the involvement of Texas in the investigation of the potential unlawful action of pharmaceutical manufacturers in relation to the opioid epidemic, the litigation and theories of liability. Topics discussed include Texas' involvement in the bipartisan multi-state investigation on the unlawful conduct of opioid manufacturers, legal action against pharmaceutical companies as a way to combat the opioid epidemic and violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA).
