- Abstract
The article presents the fist host record of Zelia (Z.)tricolor from Dectes texanus. It says that the tachinid Z. tricolor came from a tribe of parasitizes beetles that is widely disributed in North America. It states that species of Rhodobaenus were the host for Z. tricolor that can be found in Dahlia stem. Furthermore, it mentions that Zelia tricolor was raised from a larval Dextes texanus overwintering in soybeans in Southestern Missouri.
