- Abstract
The article presents a case study on African American students not being allowed to vote in Prairie View A & M University, Texas. It states that the Waller County election processes faces problems and cannot adhere to the U.S. Voting Rights Act in 1965. It discusses the Symm v. U.S. lawsuit which included tax assessor collector of Waller County LeRoy Symm who asked students about their right to vote.
