The article discusses types of locomotion include falling, parachuting, and gliding. It states that falling explore whether the mass of falling object influences the force with which the object lands, parachuting defined as an activity involving a planned drop from a great height using a large, umbrella-like device to slow descent and gliding involves adaptations in animals that increase the horizontal distance of travel.
