The article presents news briefs as of April 2012 on a various science-related topics. New findings reveal that Ice Age humans hunted animal meat earlier that previously thought. A new method developed by researchers at the University of Sheffield in Sheffield, England may produce the highest resolution images ever seen with an electron microscope. Researchers discovered a layer of sediment in the floor of Mexico's Lake Cuitzeo indicating impact from a cosmic object nearly 13,000 years ago.
