- Abstract
The article offers criticism of the poem "Lucrece" by the English poet and playwright William Shakespeare. The author looks at Shakespeare's decision to dedicate the poem to Henry Wriothesley, Earl of Southampton, England. The article also compares the poem to other famous feminist literary tragedies and discusses the literary techniques used in the poem.
