- Abstract
This letter to the editor discusses the importance of oncodermatology, which focuses on managing dermatologic adverse events (dAEs) caused by cancer therapies. The letter emphasizes the need for collaboration and shared expertise among healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for cancer patients. It highlights the challenges in managing dAEs and the importance of effective communication between oncodermatology specialists and oncologists. The letter also suggests tailoring oncodermatology strategies to regional contexts and proposes the establishment of regular meetings, shared educational sessions, standardized protocols, and integrated care plans to optimize oncodermatology and improve patient care and outcomes in the field of oncology.
