- Abstract
Over the last few years it has been possible to discern a significant increase of musicological interest in French sacred music (and French sacred musicking) of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. These quibbles and a few textual accidents aside, Nicolas Dufetel's book is an excellent gateway to the further study of nineteenth- and twentieth-century sacred music in France.
