- Title
ESSERE INFINITO E UNIVOCITÀ DELL'ESSERE NELLA METAFISICA DI DUNS SCOTO.
- Authors
GHISALBERTI, ALESSANDRO
- Abstract
The most outstanding acquisition regarding research in John Duns Scotus for the last decades is that concerning his texts about the complex notion of ens infinitum closely connected with the one of ens finitum in its declension of that which is contingent or which is possible. This implies the question of the distinctive aim of metaphysics, of the univocity of being, of the disjunctive transcendentals, as well as the possibility to create a rational theology that may agree with those requests questioning Aristotelianism brought up by theologists and compiled in the notes of the Parisian Syllabus in 1277.
