- Abstract
The article discusses state obligations concerning indigenous peoples' rights to their ancestral lands particularly for Nuba peoples. It evaluates states obligations to respect, protect, and fulfill indigenous land rights under national legal orders and international law. The UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples which considers the rights of indigenous peoples to maintain their relationship with their traditionally used lands, waters, and other resources.
