- Abstract
This research; It is a qualitative research on the relations of paid teachers working in primary schools from public schools with permanent teachers and school administrators, and it was conducted with the aim of examining the opinions of school administrators and permanent teachers about their communication with paid teachers. The phenomenology design, which is one of the qualitative research methods, provides the opportunity to research and obtain detailed information about the subjects that we are aware of but do not have deep knowledge of. The group of the research, which was carried out using the phenomenology design, consists of 10 paid teachers, 10 permanent teachers and 10 school administrators working at the public primary school level in the Bahçelievler District of Istanbul in the 2022-2023 academic year. According to the findings obtained as a result of the research, school principals who stated that they mostly see themselves as employers stated that they did not have any problems and they also experienced the communication situations they had with permanent teachers, which were not specific to paid teachers. The school principals and permanent teachers who participated in the research stated that the reasons for the communication problems they experienced with paid teachers were generally due to the fact that they were paid teachers, felt themselves labeled, and felt that they were staying here temporarily. They stated that permanent teachers do not make any distinction between paid teachers, they do not experience communication problems, they join themselves in the teachers' room, and they are in communication within the group. On the other hand, the paid teachers who participated in the research said that school administrators generally do not treat themselves as they treat permanent teachers, they give more workload, they behave a little more harshly because the administrators know that they are not permanent in this school.
