- Abstract
Film posters, which expand the domain of cinema and provide visibility, are nowadays trying to exist more in the internet environment, while they take place in newspaper columns, movie theaters or billboards in traditional media. This is because new communication media and technologies are advanced in terms of interaction and speed. There are also negative aspects of looking at the work produced with the speed brought by technology. For example, the rapid consumption of these posters with artistic value brings along artistic amnesia and can be forgotten immediately. This study deals with the film posters of Nuri Bilge Ceylan on the internet or digital platforms in terms of visual communication, especially with the films of Nuri Bilge Ceylan. The techniques used in poster designs to attract the attention of internet users are given in detail. In the layout of the film posters as a design; the presentation of composition, color, images and light to people's taste aesthetically, and the transmission of images to the target audience with strong messages reveal the importance of visual communication in our age. There are also award-winning films of Nuri Bilge Ceylan on the internet in the study, the posters of 9 films are evaluated in terms of visual communication.
