- Abstract
Since 1960s the Turks went to Germany and started to establish a new life there. This leaving started with the title of guest worker and ended with German citizenship. The Turks, who continued their lives with a new identity in a different life, felt lonely and wanted to announce their voices by the Germans, and thus emerged the immigrant literature. This literature, created of the first generation of writers, included many topics such as homesickness, longing, alienation, cultural differences and identity. In this work the first generations writers Füruzan's life was mentioned and her work "Berlin'in Nar Çiçeği" was examined. The problems of Turks, who are excluded by the Germans and feel themselves alone, was explained in this book and the basis of the work is the prejudices of two identities that living in the same society. But what makes the book different is the fact that one day different cultures can live together, when they get out of prejudices.
