- Abstract
A field study was conducted at the Agricultural Research Station of the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar, in the district of Ramadi Al-Bu Aithah, during the winter season of 2021. The experiment included 16 treatments resulting from the compatibility of mannitol sugar with four concentrations, the first without adding (M0), the second (M1) 10 g.L-1, the third (M2) 15 g.L-1 and the fourth concentration (M3) 20 g.L-1. Boron was sprayed with four concentrations also, the first concentration without adding (B0) and the second concentration (B1) 25 mg.L-1, the third concentration (B2) 50 mg.L-1 and the fourth concentration (B3) 100 mg.L-1, respectively by following the Randomized Complete Block Design (R.C.B.D) design, which included three blocks, each replicate containing 16 experimental units. The study aims to know the effect of spraying boron and mannitol sugar on the leaves on the growth and yield of cauliflower. The circumference of curd was 77.85 cm, the weight of curd was 2.671 kg.plant-1, the fresh curd weighed 64.09 mcg.ha-1, the dry weight of curd was 159.1 g.plant-1. The results also showed that spraying boron at a concentration of 100 mg.L-1 led to a significant increase in the diameter of curd, which amounted to 22.406 cm, and the circumference of curd reached 70.37 cm. Boron at a concentration of 50 mg.L-1 led to a significant increase in the weight of the fresh curd, as it reached 2.376 kg.plant-1. The weight of the wet pink disc was 57.02 mcg.ha-1, dry weight of curd was 143.2 g.plant-1
