- Abstract
The article presents U.S. commercial law case studies and examples of antitrust violations. Several cases are described, including The Kroger Company v. J. Weingarten Inc., which deals with the restrictive covenants contained in a shopping center lease and the Texas State Antitrust Law. The Texas Court of Civil Appeals dissolved the injunction and struck down the restrictive convenants as being violative of the Texas Antitrust Law. In the case of Winchester Drive-In Theatre Inc. et al. v. Twentieth Century Fox Film Co. et al., the District Court of Northern California found that the release of one tort-feasor does not necessarily release all joint tort-feasors.
