- Abstract
The article discusses the no first use (NFU) policy of China with regard to nuclear weapons. Topics explored include the impact of the NFU pledge of China on its relationship with the U.S., the national defense doctrine acknowledged by China in its initiation of a nuclear weapons program in the 1950s, and a comparison between the nuclear weapons policies of the U.S. and China.
