The article discusses the cooperation of the U.S. Great Britain and the Soviet Union in oil-rich Iran during World War II. Topics include the advance of German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's troops towards the oilfields in Iran, the use of propaganda to discredit Germany's reputation and promote the occupation of the country by the Soviet Union and Great Britain, and the development of closer relations between Iran and the U.S. during the occupation.
