- Abstract
Biodiesel emerged with a perspective of replacing diesel as a solution to a vast economic and environmental petroleum problem, with a renewable characteristic. However, the production of biofuel still needs improvements, since when it is produced by a catalytic and alkaline metallization it needs a non-purification step that leads to the formation of residual waste that contaminates contaminants in its composition impossible or discards without there being a Treatment according to CONAMA resolution 430/2011. The use of techniques that use electrochemical reactors has been making it increasingly favorable to treat effluents with characteristics. Within a context, for the treatment of residual effluent from the production of biodiesel, was used an electrochemical reactor built a pair of iron reused from the remains of the manufacture of gates and aluminum from cans of refrigerant. The electrofusion system was powered by a photovoltaic recharge station. After purification a presence of iron chloride was observed when the iron electrode was used by the addition of hydrogen peroxide to iron perchloride. The solution of perchloride obtained from the waste waters of biodiesel production was approved for the manufacture of printed circuit boards. When the aluminum electrode was used, we reacted the resulting effluent with the acid and the potassium is the result of washing water for the production of potassium alum.
