- Abstract
The article focuses on implementation of decision of the U.S. Supreme Court on case Atkins v. Virginia in deciding the case Hall v. Florida. Topics discussed include impact of giving death penalty sentences to mentally disabled criminal defendants on Eighth Amendment of the Constitution, importance of testing intelligence quotient (IQ) for showing impairment in intellectual functioning, and importance of evidence and clinical judgment in proving intellectual disability in court.
