The article explores the intonation of sentences in the Macedonian language. It provides examples of sentences that demonstrate the phonetics and phonology of the language. A final rise in intonation is identified as a the most common contour in sentences. Also discussed are the grammatical functions of intonation in the language, including the rhythmization of speech.
