- Abstract
The article discusses a linguistic construction found in the standard Macedonian language and its dialects made up of the present tense of the verb "imati" ("have") and an uninflected verbal adjective or past participle. Focus is given to the use of this construction by the youth of Tetovo, Macedonia. The author explains that this construction is connected to nominal statal predicative adjunct expressions, the possessive-existential perfect, the dynamic resultative perfect, and the experiential perfect. The construction is characterized as part of a periphrastic device.
