- Abstract
The article offers information about the seventh international workshop on adjoint model applications in dynamic meteorology conducted in Obergurgl, Austria from October 8-13, 2006. The workshop was attended by 73 participants from 15 countries. These participants shared and evaluated presentations on the diversity of adjoint model developments and other disciplines. Each of its session emphasized on different applications of adjoint modeling, arranged according to their increasing complexity. One of the topics discussed was on the use of adjoint models as general tools in estimating sensitivities. Data assimilation has been the prevailing topic discussed within the workshop.
