- Abstract
The article discusses a research study on the relationship of heart rate (HR), rating of perceived exertion (RPE) and blood lactate concentration ([L]) in successive simulations of judo fight or randori. Collected were data on HR and ([L]) of ten athlete participants before randori and then both data measured along with RPE data after randori. Results showed that evaluation using the CR-10 scale should be cautiously done when deciding the training load for judo.
