- Abstract
The use of waste and by-products of fruit in of sheep supplementation has demonstrated an important alternative sustainable, being capable of minimizing environmental damage while reducing the production cost to the owners. Aspects such as digestibility, feeding behavior, carcass characteristics, performance, among others, are being evaluated for inclusion of waste and by-products of fruit on sheep supplementation. Despite its relevance, there are few studies on this subject, suggesting further research in this respect.
