- Abstract
[Objective] To explore efficient management measures and improve the productivity of Ophiopogon japonicus, a experiment to study the effects of different fertilization treatment on the medicinal composition and yield of Ophiopogon japonicus was designed. [Method] Four fertilization gradients were used to study the growth and development characteristics, medicinal composition and yield of Ophiopogon japonicus during the whole growing season. [Result] It was found that the period from July to September was the fastest growing period of Ophiopogon japonicus leaves. The period from August to October was mainly a period of rapid growth of fibrous roots, September to March is the main growth period of the root tuber of Ophiopogon japonicus. When the amount of fertilizer per 667 m2 was 75,50,25 kg, the yield was 3428 and 2068 and 1956 kg/hm2 respectively. Compared with the control, which was increased by 116.3%, 30.7% and 23.6%. The contents of polysaccharides and flavonoids of Ophiopogon japonicus increased first and then decreased with the increase of fertilization, and the a-mount of fertilizer applied in 50 kg was the highest. The polysaccharides content of Ophiopogon japonicus in different harvest periods was as follows: from July to December, there was no obvious change, and from December to March, there was a rising trend. The contents of flavonoids in different harvest periods were as follows: from July to December, the content was stable and the volatility was not large. From January to March 2017, there was an increasing trend and reached the highest value throughout the growing season in March. The content of polysaccharides and flavonoids was the highest under the condition of 50 kg fertilization. However, the highest yield of fertilizer is 75 kg. [Conelusion] The content of polysaccharides and flavonoids in Ophiopogon japonicus increased with increasing fertilizer, hut the content of medicinal components would he decreased by excessive fertilization. In this experiment. However, how to increase the content of medicinal ingredients under the condition of increasing yield needs further study.
