- Abstract
For the study of underwater riprap rock failure, the fluctuating velocity and pulsation power of the water can not be ignored. At present, the underwater block flow velocity and drag force are often calculated using a fixed value method. The pulsation characteristics are less considered and it is difficult to simulate the actual stress state of the underwater riprap. Based on the underwater block force test, the conditions of the flow velocity and drag force are periodically obtained and analyzed. The experimental analysis shows that: When the flow rate is stable, when the turbulence intensity is greater than 3.8 cm/s and the frequency change is less than 0.03 Hz, a periodic pulsating wave is easily formed. The pulsating flow velocity and drag force can be expressed as the cosine wave function related to the impact frequency and the impact time. More accurately reflect the transient pulsation dynamics of disperse rootstone flow.
