- Abstract
The article discusses a collection of German Notgeld currency notes housed at the Museum of American Finance as of Summer 2013. According to the article, the notes were issued in Germany as a replacement for coins between 1914 and 1948. The article also discusses the creation of the German national currency known as the Rentenmark. According to the article, the museum's Notgeld collection was donated by University of Pittsburgh professor Joseph W. Eaton.
