- Abstract
This article presents a copy of the citation that was presented to Edward Seaga to induct him as a Fellow of the Institute of Jamaica and to acknowledge his contributions to the field of cultural development for Jamaica. The citation details Seaga's thoughts on the preservation of the African heritage of Jamaican people and his institution of programs that were intended to change a sense of inherited inferiority in Jamaicans.
