- Abstract
The article analyzes privacy issues regarding the use of handguns. Topics discussed include uses of handguns, alternate right-to-privacy framework, state supreme court and federal courts' interpretations on collective rights to bear arms, militia armament in the Ukraine conflict, suitability of long guns for home defense, and problems with the originalist method of legal interpretation of handguns in District of Columbia v. Heller and New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen.
