A literary criticism of the book "Angle of Repose" by Wallace Stegner is presented. It outlines the characters and explores the symbolic significance of these characters. It examines the family dynamics of Lyman Ward and his grandparents Oliver and Susan Ward, the American West's frontier setting, and themes of nostalgia. An overview of the story is also given.
