- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which investigated small fibre dysfunction as an early manifestation of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN). Three hundred six type 2 diabetic patients were examined clinically for Neuropathy symptoms score (NSS) and Neuropathy Disability score between March 2006 and September 2006. According to the findings, clinical research with vibration perception threshold (VPT) and heat cold perception (HCP) documentation can be a significant tool of diagnosing DPN.
