- Abstract
The article discusses updates on animal tort and insurance law-related decisions issued by U.S. federal and state courts. Topics explored include the declaratory judgment claimed in Liddle v. Clark which involves the death of a pet beagle at a state park, the dismissal of defamation claims in New York Horse Rescue Corp. v. Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the recovery of attorney's fees by the plaintiff in Palfreyman v. Gaconnet.
