- Abstract
The article presents an interview with Kathryn Jean Gress, founder and owner of Counseling in the Country at the Gress Mountain Ranch in Orefield, Pennsylvania. The services provided by the Gress Mountain Ranch include counseling, hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming, and animal-assisted therapy to clients with a variety of mental problems. According to Gress, when clients come to the ranch, she does an intake first and always screen for phobias, allergies or abuse of animals.
