- Abstract
The article discusses the role and involvement of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the development of case identification and referral for resettlement processes and make resettlement equitable, and accountable for refugees. These include the active engagement of Faithbased and secular humanitarian groups who actively identified and assisted refugees prior to the creation of UN Refugee Agency, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
