- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 22-month-old African American toddler that demonstrated inability to walk. Topics discussed include results of the physical, abdominal, and cardiopulmonary examinations performed on the patient, the development of nutritional rickets due to the patient's lack of vitamin D supplementation, and the vitamin D and calcium supplements administered to the patient in addition to the close monitoring of his weight.
