- Abstract
The article reports on the opening of a school for dog guides in Forfar, Scotland. Princess Alexandra of the British Royal Family, patron of the Great Britain Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, attended the school's grand opening on April 30, 2008. The school was created to provide the best practices in dog care and welfare and environmental awareness. It features an indoor all-weather training area, an outdoor training area offering permanent street obstacles, different types of pavement and traffic lights.
