- Title
Effective nanocatalysts with reduced precious metal content.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of nancrystals as catalysts having a high surface area. Topics include high surface energy of nanocrystals that results in a highly stable state, platinum being costly and rarely available to be used as a catalyst, and use of transmission electron microscopy for the development of catalysts that improves performance without compromising on surface area. Also it mentions synthesis of octahedral platinum nanocages that display better electrocatalytic activity.
