- Abstract
The article discusses the results of a study made in Hillsborough County, Florida to examine what science to teach in the junior high school. The investigation indicated that there was a recognizable interest on the part of both teachers and students in the topics, biology, living things, plants, animals, human body and health, sanitation and disease and astronomy. Students show a high degree of interest in matters pertaining to themselves, likewise, teachers think it is impotrant to teach such material in junior high school.
