- Authors
WILLIAMSON, TIMOTHY
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on "The Metaphysical Conception of Analyticity," by Bob Stalnaker which discusses philosophy. He states that he agrees with Stalnaker that philosophy is constant with natural sciences and empirical inquiry. He argues that a true philosophical question conveys a true proposition while a false philosophical question expresses false proposition. He adds that it is better to represent fact by tautology and lie by contradiction.
