The Theory of Everything.
- Authors
Gresham, Robert M.
- Abstract
The article discusses British scientist and engineer Osborne Reynolds' Theory of Everything and its ability to solve many puzzles of modern physics leading to significant developments. Topics covered include Reynolds' equations showing the correlation between inertia and viscosity in fluid dynamics, the use of the Reynolds number by tribologists to characterize the flow of oil in bearings and hydraulic systems, among others, and the emerging field of nanotribology.
