- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 37-year-old woman with paraplegia who showed predisposing factors for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) and who developed POP six years following a severe spinal cord injury (SCI). Topics discussed include indications that POP was caused by relaxation of the uterine suspension structure, while SCI was caused by restricted limb mobility due to the patient's wheelchair use.
