- Abstract
The articles discusses some letters from Lord Chesterfield with reference to the publication "The Letters of Philip Dormer Stanhope, Earl of Chesterfield." This book was published in four volumes. It consists of most of the passages from the original letters. These four letters are written to three correspondents: Solomon Dayrolles, Richard Chenevix, the Bishop of Killaloe and George Lyttleton, a member of the government opposition. And the final note written in Lord Mahon's hand, describes a letter and includes a line from it.
