- Abstract
He also spent 6 years at the Quebec Ministry of Education workingon Information Literacy, Digital Citizenship, as well as being theliaison between the Ministry and school libraries in the Englishsector of Quebec. While our schools andtheir libraries here in Montreal are closed until the fall (along withmost of Canada), we can't forget the great things each of us didacross Canada this school year to help move our libraries forwardand find better ways to help serve our students and teaching staff. This led to manyconversations before we (the three board-level librarians, ourassistant director, and the communications team) finally came upwith a unified message: we were going to celebrate all the stepsforward that we (as a school board community) had accomplishedover the years; that there was more to come and that we wanted toencourage additional schools to focus more on what their librariescould do in cooperation with their schools.
