This research is planned to determine the effect of health education to nutrition knowledge and behavior to school-age children. This is an experimental-interventional research. The sample size of the study is determined as 64 people for each group therefore predicted 50% difference between intervention group and control group after calculating 80 % strength and 95% confidence intervals. There were 69 students in the intervention school and 68 students in the control school. The students were trained about health nutrition in intervention school. During two years for 28 weeks, the students had been given health education by interactive education methods. Levels of students' knowledge were assessed by giving one point out of 20 point for each correct answer. Nutrition behavior changing of students were assessed on regular meals, on consuming vegetables, fruits, milk and milk products, meat, chicken, fish, egg and not to consuming junk foods and on total nutrition behaviors. Every point of each subtitles were added and taken averages. Meaningful difference were found (p<0.05) between intervention group and control group for consuming vegetables, fruits, milk and milk products, meat, chicken, fish, egg and nutrition knowledge.
