- Abstract
Rapid multi-residue analysis of pesticides in agricultural products using LC-MS/MS was developed and validated. Spinach and mandarin orange and brown rice were extracted with acetonitrile. The extracts were purified using a handmade three-layer column, consisting of a layer of Zirconia / ODS dry particles of a graphite carbon / anion exchange stacked column. The developed method showed good trueness of pesticides in these products. Recovery tests were conducted in the foods fortified with 208 kinds of pesticides at the levels of 0.01 and 0.1 μg/g, respectively. Two samples for both 0.01 and 0.1 μg/g were purified on 5 separate days. Pesticides in the test solution were determined using LC-MS/MS. For the trueness of the developed method for 208 pesticides in the foods, 172 180 pesticides ranged from 70 to 120% with satisfactory repeatability and within-run reproducibility. The developed method would be applicable for screening tests of pesticide residues in agricultural products.
